Republic Wireless is a Hybrid phone coverage provider. What does that mean? It means they use wireless
internet access whenever possible to send and receive calls, text messages, emails, and web browsing. The goal being to use less expensive wireless signal whenever possible. When wireless signal isn’t available your phone will revert over to Sprint cell towers so you always stay connected. The result, is phone coverage at a fraction of the cost, $19 each month. Check out their “What’s the catch?” page for more information about their service.
In past months I would never have considered switching to Republic Wireless myself because I just couldn’t get on board with the Motorola Defy XT. Now is a different story, Republic Wireless is giving away a MotoX, the new handset their service will be offered with. This is truly something to get excited about.
